This is our 4-5 week old Ameraucana/EE. We are curious as to how she will look as a full grown and feathered bird. We know this is not something that can be predicted with 100% accuracy, but we are curious if anyone has any pictures of their birds that had this coloring as young chicks and how they look now. We have another Ameraucana that we got last spring, but her coloring has always been much darker than the new one.

This is Connie- the new bird 4-5 weeks old

sorry for the blurriness- you know how chicks are

This is 'Merica- the bird we have had since last spring

Ok, guess it's a good thing that I couldn't care less if my birds are Ameraucanas or EE. And you offered no info to answer my original question.

There is absolutely no way to predict exactly what color an Easter Egger chick will look like as an adult. Your chick seems to have a silver base color instead of gold, and juvenile partridge type patterning. How those factors develop though, is anybody's guess. You can have two identical chicks that end up looking completely different or you can have different looking chicks that end up looking the same. There is just no way to say what an Easter Egger will end up like. That's part of what makes owning Easter Eggers interesting.

I love how different they all turn out to be! Yours looks like it might be on the white/lighter + partridge mix. It will be interesting to see how she feathers out, she is a cutie!!
