I have been noticing for a couple days that one of my 1 week old Silver Penciled Wyandotte bantam chicks was sleeping a little differently than the rest. Well, when I picked her up today, her neck curled under in an embryo-like position. I know this is wry neck, but so far, after raising 65 birds, it's the first case I've ever encountered. She's eating and drinking and is exceptionally energetic as of late, but it breaks my heart to see her with her chin pasted to her chest. She actually curls up more severely when I pick her up, and then is a little less obvious when running around in the brooder. Is there anything else I can do for her other than give her a vitamin supplement? I'm so new to this.
Thank you so much!
