Robert I am liking you line of thought.

Make every effort to understand your chicken's biology and the environment that supports it.

Hey Howard

No problem brother.  The wonderful thing about this place is that we can throw all of our ideas out there for everyone to read and then, after we've read, digested all we want, we make our decision.  I very rarely adhere strictly to anyone's methods myself.  It's kinda like sitting around with your family and bouncing ideas off each other  No one gets angry.  We just listen and then decide.  By-the-way, you are very welcome.  I always wish I had more to offer here..

That 1 and 2-wire system is working on thousands of livestock and poultry yards all over the world, literally.  It's always nice when we read of the results our friends here have with their ideas.  So, please post after you've built your system and let us know how it worked?
