Here is some interesting info: Chicks from White Plymouth Rocks that carry the silver gene will be smoky gray in color, and will be all white as adults. Another advantage of the silver gene is their feathers wont turn yellow in the sun like White Rocks bred without it.

Ah okay I didn't know of the silver gene
 
Went to big R today and saw chukar and pheasants. They were so tiny!!! I wanted one so badly but I can't afford anymore birds lol
 
I was there today too! They were so tiny and adorable! I wouldn't know what to do with them or how to take care of them so I wasn't tempted. ;)


Haha yeah I went to get more food and adult grit BUT I found out they don't carry adult grit at all only chick grit that is for chicks until they are 10 weeks old just a heads up
