Do your speckled egg layers always lay speckled eggs? As in, do they ever lay non-speckled eggs? I got my first hens recently and 3 are laying but one must be a slacker... I get a speckled egg every now and then, once or twice a week. The other two eggs are pretty easily distinguishable and come much more often, and this speckled egg is always the same shape which is different from the other 2. I have tracked at least one speckled egg to my RIR hen. Any help on this would be appreciated... Thanks!
