Not an entry, just wanted to share. I sent the boy to check on the youngest outdoor chicks while I checked on the ones in the brooder. When 20 minutes passed and he hadn't come back in, I went to check on him. Apparently my youngest son is a real chick magnet!
This is my Entry #2: Sweetie, my favorite little lady, and I were just hanging out taking a walk amd some selfies tonight. I think she is growing rather fond of our time together.
Not really a special looking photo. But this is the first chick out of the first hen I ever hatched who still comes to the door to say hello to mom. This baby was fathered by the most awesome Roo ever. I took this picture right before falling asleep for over an hour. I do believe she is a pullet and she really needs a name. She is everything her mom is and looks just like momma as a chick. I think I am falling in love with my favorite hens baby.
This is momma just today breaking out to come and see me. I will be devastated if I ever lose her. She is an Araucana from Awesome Araucanas. I can still pet her whenever and she comes when I call her name. What would I do without my Yellow Bird.
When a chicken leaves their flock to be with you, it means you are their family. And her baby is just the same.
Awwww! So cute! I like the 1st, and the 4th, and the 2nd, and the 3rd too!
I want one! I think we have decided on Lamancha goats. We are having a hard time deciding between Nubian or Lamancha!!!! What a great problem to have.
