Suggestions on how to seal inside of a coop?

I have rough cut pine which has been sanded down to provide a smooth surface and I was wondering how I should seal it so chicken poop won't rot the wood. I am going to be painting the bottom of the wood and exterior but I don't want to paint the interior as I'm afraid the paint may harm them, any suggestions?
 
BlackJack 57 rubber roof coating is a very popular coating option on here. Good litter/bedding should keep the wood from being in constant contact with the manure. Some will get through but it's not like the entire floor will be exposed to chicken poop 24/7.
