That's what some people call Stargazing. It's do to a Vitamin B deficiency. You need to get a Vitamin supplement that contains Vitamin B that can be put into the water and have the chick drink from the water. If it's getting enough of the vitamin supplement you'll begin to notice changes within a few days. I believe it's Vitamin B 12 specifically or B 1. Make sure you get a Vitamin Electrolyte supplement is the important part that you can put in the feed or water as soon as you can.

Ugh. All the pea chicks on this thread are so cute!!! I lucked upon a bunch of pea eggs this spring & was able to hatch out 3 of them. I then let my DH convince me that peas r too loud & that I have too many birds, so I sold them. Can't believe how much I missed them. Having a bout of seller's remorse, I ordered a bunch of pea eggs, mostly from eBay. I should have come here first. Maybe some will hatch. Fingers crossed.
