He looks like a handsome boy next time get him to stand a bit away from the camera shows head to feet. Marans are very pretty but I don't say that in front of my Jersey Giants.

I don't know if the chick is a he or she, but it is a English Black Copper Marans (clean legs) French have feathered legs
I have notice with my Black Copper Marans that some of them have much longer tail feathers at 2wks old. Is anyone finding that this determines the sex?
