Hi all, I live in Cambodia and just bought an Incubator from Vietnam www.lin.com.vn looks great, has all the bells and whistles, auto turning, auto humidity (just fill a bucket and it takes what water it wants) It keep the temp and humidity at stable rates very nicely. My question is, the booklet (which is written in Vietnamese and a badly translated English version, call for 60% Relative humidity on days 1-15 and 68% from day 16 on. This seems very high in the beginning, and calls for a minor increase starting on day 15?!?! Not sure if it has anything to do with the weather over here which is hot and humid or what, but looking for some advice from the "pros" back in the US ;-)

a lot of people do theirs differently I do mine at 40 % until day 18 then I take out the auto turner and lay the eggs down and bump up the humidity to 75% I think keeping the humidity at 60% during the first 18 days wont let the air cells expand enough and your chicks will die when they pip

Very interesting , I allso live in cambodia I would like really small incubator as matter of interest what part of cambodia do you live I am in sihanokoville
