Hi,
I have 2 chickens who have been laying eggs for about one week. I am getting the eggs layed in the correct nest place in the coop. Sometimes two eggs a day.
Yesterday on the way out of the run from cleaning the coop I noticed a yellow yoke lying on the ground. It was just the yoke and I couldn't see any egg shell. After a couple of hours it was gone.
Is this a strange occurance?
I am new to chicken raising.
