Yep, thats my question. I have tried searching, and Googling didn't find what I was hoping for. Thanks in advance. :D

I believe I red showgirl to silkie is a 50% chance of showgirl, if anyone can confirm that would be great. :)

I have a smooth showgirl rooster over a small number of silkie hens 3 nice quality girls and one pet quality. I have only gotten babies from the pet girl so far. I am really hoping to soon hatch some from the nice girls and crossing fingers for some Showgirl-silkies! :D

I believe the silkie gene is recessive so breeding silkie carrier to a pure silkie should give you 50% silkie & 50% smooth. Also you quality silkies probably have to much fluff around their vent for your rooster to complete the process. You might want to trim or pluck the vents of both rooster and hen silkies to increase fertility.
