I have managed to have chickens for one year with no sickness issues. Some how my rooster came down with what I thought was a cold from all the rain and up and down in the weather. But after finding this forum and reading what I can I believe he has corcza. I started treating him yesterday with tetracycline hypochloride that I have been mixing with pedeolite. I told my husband we need to put him down tomorrow after reading all the posts. He has been separated since I noticed the problem.
But I have a hen that acts okay other than a little weezing/cough. She has been separated since I noticed it. I started treating her also. I don't want to give up on her.
I am going to buy the injectable antibiotics tomorrow for her.
Any other suggestions.
