Hi my name is Chrissy. we have a busy house with children dogs and cat plus our new add on baby road island reds. 6 of them. At the moment they sleep in our room in a very large cage. Our dog is very protective of them. We are trying to decide on a coop style.

Hi Chrissy,

Don't take too long deciding on the style of coop...those little chicks grow fast! Just a few things to keep in mind for your coop:
- make it as big as you can (that way they'll have lots of room which they like and also, you'll be able to add a few more)
- lots of ventilation
- make it tall enough you can stand up in it
