We just got 2 Pekin Ducks from the feed store Friday. I have had chickens for nearly 4 years and I love it! Me and my husband decided to get the ducks and they are now in the backyard brooder with my 6 new RIR chicks. They get along great! My question is what do I need to add to my coop and run for them? I know I am going to add a raised kiddie pool in the run for them to swim in. I just don't know where they sleep. Do I need to add a box for them to sleep in at night? Thank ya'll in advance for any duck keeping advice ya'll can give! Here is a few pics of them in the bathtub last night!

They can sleep in the coop but you may have to physically put them in as sometimes they would rather sleep outside. They will just sleep on the ground in the coop so you may want to if you dont already have install some poop boards under the chickens roosts so they dont get pooped on. If you are keeping them in the coop you need to make sure they access to water all the time which can get the coop messy.
If your coop is raised make sure the ramp is big enough for the ducks.
