I think one of my 2 rhode island whites might very well be a rooster
4 months old and this is what SHE? looks like?


And i also got two black jersey giants that one might be a Rooster also !

I'd expect a lot more comb development in a cockerel. Agree a full body shot would help.

How close can you narrow down age?
 
Can someone tell me if this is a rooster or a hen? I have 6 chicks and only 2 look like this. They are getting aggressive also.

Here is a pic of her or him as she walked in the coop
the one peeping in is a jersey giant same age and im wondering also about that one a bit
they are about 4 months old born in nov i got them about a month old on dec 23rd
the more i look at her stature im thinking she is just a maturing fast female now.. but the giant behind her?
lol prolly the same just a big girl...
I do feed them pretty good
they GF says i spoil them (the chickens) more then her...

ON another note
I do want to give them more room to roam so im thinking about makeing their area larger but it wont be covered like their run is now..
5 ft fence going to be tall enough to keep them in? LOL
not sure..
they are now in a COVERED dog run that is 7.5 feet by 12.5 feet
the new aditional area would be about 25 feet by 35 feet just not covered
