Fallacy......great until you've got pouring rain or a blizzard, then they are stuck inside a too small coop.

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

 

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!

Well I geuss then but they could always buy one of those dog boxes at loses or something and some how attach it to the coop

Plus, 6 large breed hens take up a lot of space just standing still. They need to be able to move around each other comfortabley, without bumping into each other or the walls. It's just not enough space.

And there is NO ventilation inside.

Like I said u could always build a tunnel between the coop and buy or build a dog box to give them extra space

What's the size of the actual coop area (not including the run area)? Looks w a y small. Agreeing with above posters, what about bad weather when they need to be in?
