Newbie looking for dark egg layers

Thread Starter
Hi, newbie here in NE Missouri. I'm on a hunt for chicks that come from really dark egg layers, chocolate if possible. Also looking for Easter Eggers and partridge. If anyone knows anyone local to NE Missouri that may be hatching chicks please let me know it will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi and :welcome. You need to have 20 posts before you can post on the buy/sell/trade forum, so get posting away!

The Learning Centre is a great resource, even for experienced chicken keepers - loads of info on anything chicken. http://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center

Joining your state / country thread will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area, which can be helpful.

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

I think Blue copper Marans produce the deepest chocolate eggs.
