Deep litter in run

Hello everyone. I am new to byc and also new to owning chickens. I was hoping to try a deep litter method in the run and hoping it composts also as I put scraps and things in there. My question is, would it be ok to put the poop that i take off the poop boards and put in the run, or should I put it out in a seperate bin outside?

Why not do deep litter in both? Run and the coop, then you won't have to worry about moving poop from one place to another.  I have 9 hens in a 6x8 coop and don't notice a huge pile up of poop under the roost, they keep it stirred up with their scratching.  No poop boards.

I was gonna do deep litter in the coop as well, I just didn't know if I should have a poop board or not, thinking it may be too much poop in there. If it works fine without, then that is what I'll try.
