She is the loudest thing. I thought she was going to be a boy and have the strangest crow. It was almost a whine that reminded me of what a pterodactyl sounded like. At 17 weeks she really rules the roost.

Lol! I have a barred rock that is just like this. She even goes so far as to screech put a horrible sounding crow every so often. But as loud and bossy as she is, she's my most personable girl, and my best layer

It's funny you said that--I spend so much time looking at photos of folks' birds, in person my own are sometimes hard to sex

. I've found if I take a picture, I can sex my own birds much easier.

Isn't it weird that it is easier to remove ourselves and look at the photos instead as if they were not my own birds.
