Is this a hen or rooster

Wait till they are about 6 weeks old to begin introductions. Things usually go pretty smooth when you introduce a group of chicks to a lone hen. The key to a smooth integration is space and multiple food and water stations.
 
You guys!!!! She started laying eggs 2 nights ago! My kids went out to go check, and my son brought in 2 beautiful eggs!!! We could hardly believe our eyes. Since then, she's layed us an egg every single day! So glad we held out. I was seriously about to give her away a couple weeks ago. My 11 year old son has been raising the chickens all on his own, and with 4 out of the 5 turning out to be roosters, I was so sad for him to lose his very last one (we aren't allowed to keep roosters here so were having to give them away). He is so happy and relieved this last one is indeed a hen. And we cooked up the 3 eggs last night and they were so tasty! So much more color than the store bought (my son did a side by side taste test/comparison). We're excited! Thank you to all of you for your replies and helping me not lose hope she was a hen :)
