Shipping stress, dehydration, failure to thrive are common in new chicks, especially bantams. Sprinkle some chick crumbles on a paper towel around it's feet to encourage it to start pecking. Keep it warm about 90 degrees F, but allow for a cooler spot to escape to in the brooder.
