Oh, how adorable is he?!? He reminds me of a silkied Serama, so cute!I've been failing to update on Kumquat's feathers.... Looks kind of like a black-tailed buff except for those black feathers on his back/shoulders.
Is this cross-breed growing silkie-type feathers?

Haha, that's a pretty cool Rooster you got there. It is impossible to guess what he is exactly but there is definitely some silkie genes in that pool. Are you planning on breeding him?

No, sadly. His maternal grandmother is an Easter Egger with some really bad genes (all of her offspring and descendants either walk funny or are mentally a little off, half of them had trouble hatching, and this is between two different mother hens and an incubator so it's definitely a problem with her) so I shouldn't make more. 
Aww, that's one adorable little guy! He reminds me of the Tribbles on the Serama thread that Ra has. What I'd give for a handful of those cuties
