TSC "Cornish Rocks"

I put that in quotations because I'm starting to worry that the dozen chicks I purchased as cornish rocks are some kind of heritage bird. Mostly because after 10 days here I thought they would be a lot bigger. Thoughts?

Well, definitely not CornishX, they *could* be one of the "ranger" types out there -- what did they look like as chicks -- were they reddish or yellow, any striping on them, etc?
 
I agree they're not CX. With those nice sturdy legs they could be some type of red broiler, though. Sorry, I'm not familiar with what they look like as chicks. While not as large as a CX, I think they look decently large for a ten day old chick so you may still have a meat bird, just a slower growing type.
