Up until this morning I have let my goose keep her fertilized eggs. It has been around 25-35 days, and they are fully developed and ready to hatch it seems. I went out there this morning and found one of the three eggs smashed, I then pulled out the gosling who was fully developed but dead. His left eye seemed like it wasn't there and his head had a large bald spot by the same eye and both were bleeding. His anus did not look good either, it looks a but swollen and bloody. I then brought the other two eggs inside (because I don't trust my goose's parenting skills anymore) and put them under a heat lamp. Was this the right thing to do? Will they be warm enough? Or are they stuck in the eggs? Should I break them out? Thanks!
