Hatching Call ducks

Thread Starter
Hi all,

I'm planing to hatch call ducks this next April in my RCOM 10, but from what I've read they are harder to hatch. Why is this?

Also:

What tempreture and humidity would you recommend?

How often do they need turning?

How often do they need spraying?

Any other tips and advise would be appreciated.

Calls are hard to hatch due to their short bills making it difficult for them to pip and zip properly... the more SQ they are, the harder it is...

Hand turning is definitely best, at least 3x a day, 5x is better...

I run my temp right at 100°F in forced air bator, humidity at no more than 30%...

Misting only if the air cells don't grow big enough...
