Hey guys; first post here! :D

I just adopted two beautiful young pullets from a local backyard chicken'er. She mentioned they might be Maran (?) mixes, but wasn't certain. Anyone have any idea what these girls are (or mostly are)? I can provide more pictures if needed.

They seem to be getting along just fine with my Barred Rock, BTW. But I had no idea she was so SMALL until I brought home these girls.

You are correct, they should be dark brown, it probably is a mix as well than, they could be related.
 
Our Australorps have gold eyes too, and a few impurities in the feathers so it's probably just not a pure bred Australorp (still just as gorgeous <3) the second one is similar to ours which were (RIR x Light Sussex) x (RIR x Leghorn) so yea... Same answer, a mixed breed xD

I recovered some eggs today, if the size and coloring helps. The top two are the new hens. The bottom two are my Barred Rock.
