Hello all, new to the yard. I am looking for 5 or 6 good laying hens already laying in the Memphis, TN area. This is new for me and I'd like to find some R I R's but I will take anything that is laying a decent egg.

Thanks for any reply/feedback

Stephen

Hello, Stephen, welcome to BYC.  Type Tennessee in the search bar at the top of the page.  Locate your state thread, and hopefully someone there can help you establish a flock.  Good luck.

:welcome  glad you have joined us.

You have already received advice on means to locate those layers.  All I will add, is to study up on how to tell if a hen is still laying so you don't get old cast offs ;)
