Outside

What age and what outside temperature can I take my chicks outside to "play"? It would be supervised and only 20-45 mins at a time. I am not asking when they can go outside in the coop, just when they can start hanging around in the grass for a while. Spoiled buggers already beg to come out of the brooder so I have been letting them run around the bathroom and that is a messy time. :P

Any time.

A mother hen will take her chicks outside after a day or two. If they huddle, they may be too cold but if they run around, they're fine.

Thank you! It's going to be in the 70s tomorrow! Can't wait to take them outside.
