I bought 2 goslings and one was a little small, the runt possibly. He seems fine eating and drinking, but his neck is not straight like the other goose it's like he can't hold it up. I assumed it was wry neck, and have been giving poly vi sol, vitamin e and selenium for a week. It's not helping. He's still eating and drinking water with sav a chick electrolytes. I tried to put a splint on him and he flipped out. Could it be something else?

His neck was not always like that, when I bought him he looked normal, just a little bit weaker than the other.

It can take longer than a week to treat also you should be giving them niacin 125mgs till 10 weeks old. niacin dif can cause leg issues and neurological issues. You can use plain niacin crushed and mixed in 1 gal of water or Brewers yeast human grade 1 Tab. to 1 cup of feed. This maybe what you are seeing it can be quite common in water fowl fed feed for chickens and that is only what most of us can buy. Poor little one I'd get the Niacin or Brewers yeast asap. Just in case it a def. it usually doesn't take long to see improvement once they start if it's a def. usually with in a week.
