I recently concreted a pond and have been mulling over the idea of plants inside and out. It seems to me from how the ducks respond to things. Anything small enough to eat, they will eat. So I'm thinking, large established plants that are big enough to withstand the onslaught of a few ducks, I have 10 with a broody less than two weeks out. I feel like I'm going to buy alot of plants they'll destroy before I find the right ones. Will be starting with shrubs of some sort on the exterior, in due time of course, alot of projects currently.
have you tried asking on the duck thread as well. Alot of people have successfully integrated ducks into their amazing looking koi ponds. You could also try putting things in cages to give time to get established.
