Help, please! Birth defect?

So I ordered from My Pet Chicken for the first time. Not having had chicks shipped before I wasn't sure what to expect. I am pleased to say that it went off without a hitch. They were shipped out yesterday and delivered by the postman personally this morning. All chicks were healthy looking and active. No D.O.A.s. Thank goodness! The only problem is that one of the chicks appears to have a birth defect. I took some pics. It is a flap of skin on its flank. No open areas. No apparent injury. Doesn't seem to hurt. I am attaching some pictures. There is down on the back/underside of the flap. Has anyone else seen anything like this? Is there anything I should do? Also , I am assuming this is one of my golden-laced polish?

That is a bit strange--I haven't seen that before, but agree it looks like a skin flap. Too bad that is doesn't have down on the top side to hide it. I would just watch it as she grows to make sure that the others don't peck at it if it turns red like a comb or wattle.

Do you think I could use derma bond skin adhesive to "glue " it so that you can't see it as well or blue kote?
 
How close to the vent is the skin flap? How thin is it? I would wonder if a vet could remove it by snipping it with very sharp scissors, then using a stitch or blood stop powder? I have used BluKote with good results, but some say it has attracted more attention.

It is pretty close to her vent. At this point I think I'm just going to leave it alone and keep an eye on it. The other chicks don't seem to notice it. According to someone who had this on one of their chicks they kind of grow into it. It just leaves a small bald spot that gets covered by their feathers
 
Yes, that is probably best. I figured that her feathers would eventually grow over it and cover it. BluKote is always available at feed stores to disguise it, if the red is ever a problem that attracts pecking.
