Hey, hi, howdy

Hey there! I'm Everett, I'm 19 and I live in Washington state.

I don't actually have any chickens! I've wanted some for a long time, though, and I'll hopefully be able to get some in the next couple of years.

What I do have is a pair of quail who just hatched 3 eggs the other day! I also have a pair of zebra finches and four society finches. My family has a whole bunch of other pets, including two cats that I love. For birds, my mom has two diamond doves and two button quail who were from the last batch of eggs that my pair hatched.

Anyways, hi!

Welcome to Backyard chickens.  Sounds like you may be interested in the  Cage bird threads  - just put that in the search box and it will pop up.  BYC also has  the "Other Backyard poultry" thread that includes, ducks, geese, quail, guineas, etc.

You might also enjoy 'meeting' other members that live in Washington...just put the name of your state in the search box and your state thread should pop up.

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele
