I get it, I don’t have chickens where we are, but I have turkeys. They’re pretty hardy but totally different behaviors than my ducks. The geese are to have a bigger presence with my ducks, I’m not expecting goose robocop
Everybody gets locked in the barn at night and the only things that could get in would be snakes or rats, and I have traps out for both. The turkeys perch high up except when sitting, so having a bigger ground presence with the ducks would be helpful. I also want the geese to eat weeds, the turkeys eat sorrel but love their food and don’t keep weeds down like I was hoping.
