Usually when goats have Flaky Skin like My Myotonic goat does, and a copper colored tail is a sign of a Copper/zinc deficiency. Im looking into buying Copper Buloses for all of them. its like a pill capsul with copper in it. and im changing there minerals that have more zinc in them :)

As a matter of fact, any vitamin or mineral deficiency can result in flaky skin.  Not just copper.

The obscure we understand eventually.
The obvious takes a little longer.

Wow, that is very interesting. Thank you for taking the time to explain it to me. I hope to get goats sometime in the future, likely not for a couple more years though.
