Hatching

So after taking care of 4 emu eggs in the incubator, the first one hatched on its own on day 52. The baby seems fine and his navel is still barely open but I think it will be close and be fine. This same day in the morning, all other eggs were also wiggling and whistling, but then I noticed that one of the eggs had stopped moving and whistling completely. I started being really worried and after two hours the eggs still did not move or whistle at all. Out of desperation, I made a small hole in the airspace side of the egg and still saw no movement, yet the chick inside seemed pretty much fully developed. I was so sad that this had happened, and so confused what could have gone wrong and I began to worry about the other eggs, thinking that maybe they were in there for too long and should've came out earlier. So I also began to help one of the other eggs out of the egg. The chick is fine and is moving around in the hatcher, but out of his navel are two small little ball things sticking out. This was very strange to me and I don't know what I should do and what that could be. I have attached a photo of the navel and what is left over in the egg. Both being different than what there was for the first egg that hatched. All help is greatly appreciated.

All advice is greatly appreciated. For now i have cleaned the chick's navel and put a band aid over it to protect against infection. The chick seems tired and is mostly sleeping.

Not good news....I don't know Emus but if hatching is anything like chickens, the last picture....It's the intestines is partially out of the body. Chicks don't usually survive but you may want to take to a Vet, or wait for someone with more experience. You may have an issue with the incubation process that they/chicks aren't developing right? Hopefully someone with more experience will ANSWER soon.... Good luck
