Call duck eggs incubation and hatching info needed!

Hi everyone! I am a new member to BYC, and I recently ordered 11++ butterscotch call duck eggs. This is my first time with calls, though I have hatched other breeds, and helpful tips would be greatly appreciated! I have hatched ducks 3 seasons now. The first year, they were chocolate Indian runners and 4 out of 7 hatched! The second year, they were mallards and only one of 6 hatched, she had to be helped... A LOT. We got her a companion Rouen as a duckling, and the next year we incubated 8 of her eggs, and 5 hatched! Two of the eight had to be helped with hatching. I have heard that calls are hard to hatch due to small bills, but I am experienced in helping hatches. I am still in school, though, so I will not be around all the time to check on them. I would just like to know about any information that I need to know about hatching calls. Thanks!:D

I will keep you all updated on how the incubation and hatching goes, they have not yet arrived.

The eggs came today!!! There are 12 of them, but one is reeeaaallly tiny. Would this one be a trouble to hatch?
 
These are Call eggs . . . from what I have read (I am not a hatcher) they are high maintenance - I mean, it sounds to me like you need to watch carefully and sometimes intervene. But the trick, from what I read, is not to intervene too soon or if not needed. So being able to recognize trouble and actually, prevent trouble, are very very important with Calls.

I would think @Lacrystol or some of the other Call duck hatchers could advise. Have you checked in on the Call Duck hatching thread?

So you taken the call duck challenge!!! Your a brave person hahahah. Check out my site www.lwbarnhouse.com. There's a tab called incubating tips, some of these tips may help you. My first suggestion would be to use the method with low humidity. It's not the time of year to be using method 3. Method 3 is more for summer months.

Thank you both so much! I checked out your website, so much information!!! My eggs have been sitting for 14 1/2 hrs now. They all had somewhat wobbly air sacks. I know this is normal before setting, but is it still normal after setting? I haven't candeled them yet since I set them, but just in case. Also, I don't have a tool that measures humidity, and my 'bator doesn't have a dial for humidity since it is a medical incubator (it's worked fine for my previous hatches). I currently have a small rag/ towel soaking in a tray of water on the bottom rack. Any ideas where I could get a humidity-measuring-tool? @Amiga @Lacrystol
