Any breed guesses?

We have 2 that look very similar but were sold just simply as "Easter Eggers" so could be anything with that gene.

Here's one of them (the dark orange one)

And the other one (darker black feathers on her back)

Another angle of the second one

Both Easter Eggers....and there is no "Easter Egger" gene as Easter Egger is not a breed.

Your birds have beards/muffs and the common coloring of an Easter Egger reflecting the Ameraucana paraentage in the background which is what creates an Easter Egger....Araucana or Ameraucana parent with any other breed...yours has the beard/muffs, so Ameraucana based Easter Egger.

And Welcome to BYC!

Thanks! Yes I know there's no "Easter Egger" gene, I meant they supposedly have the gene to lay colorful eggs (so they are called "Easter Eggers"). Can't wait til they start laying!
