Love love our new chicks but they are getting into so much trouble in the Tupperware bin.
They keep on knocking over there food and water feeders and they are getting a little fiesty with each other. Was wondering if I could or when can we move the chicks to the coop were they will have more room and there feeders will be hung? Our temperatures in wi are still in the 30s at night. Also when do I switch over there food? I am still feeding them chicken starter granules. Thanks for your help!

We just moved our to the Coop today. They are 5 weeks old. We put a light in there and closed the door to the run at dusk. We are praying they stay warm enough.

We also moved our chicks to their coop today. We have 4 Barred rocks that are 6-7 weeks old, 2 Buff Orpingtons-5 weeks old and 2 Easter Eggers-4 weeks old. Our Temps tonight will be in the lower 40's, I put 2 heat lamps in the coop-1 is 250 watts and the other is 100 watts. Our coop is 4'x 8'. I am a very nervous mama tonight hoping they will be warm enough, I've gone out and checked on them at least 5 or 6 times already. I know this 1st night will be the hardest on me, hope I can sleep tonight!

Mine did too, I was up 1/2 the night worried about them though. Hubby went out this morning and bought a Web camera to put inside the coop, will ease mine and my daughter's minds alot!
