Twins in the incubator (please help)

Thread Starter
Hi, today is day seven of incubating eggs and I had just candled the eggs, one of them had two very visible embryos, one at each end. I have never had twins inside of an egg before and just had the question of what to do when they are trying to hatch and what to do when they are having issues hatching?

Hi Katrina,

Often one or both of them will not make it to hatch, but if they do you have a couple weeks to prepare.  In the search bar, look for "twins" and read the other threads.  One of them has a link to a you tube video of someone assisting a twin hatch.

Good luck!

Hi Katrina,

Hop on YouTube and watch videos of people who have helped theirs out of the shell. It is likely that you will have to help them out of the shell, but there is a delicate window of time that is the right time. That's the tricky part. Good luck! thumbsup.gif
