pygmy vs nubian vs nigerian vs merino

and is there anyway to keep them together and what is the best goat to have as a outdoor pet you know like the goat that likes to follow you if sweet and can be funny?

i think i would go with sheep but is there any other livestock that clips the top of grass because i would use my goats as lawn mowers and put them on my lawn for a day or two
 
Goats won't clip the grass short, they will be more interested in eating trees and shrubs. Both species have different mineral requirements, goats need extra copper and it is toxic to sheep. Sounds like sheep is what you are wanting, I would try to find some young ones to take down or orphan bottle lambs.
 
Just a comment. My dad used to rent a house with a very large fenced yard with a beautiful lawn. The landlord never mowed it either. He had a couple sheep running on it and they did a wonderful job of keeping the grass trimmed. The place looked like a park. There were no flowers though. I think if there were, the sheep would have trimmed them, too.
