How would I know? Is it acting sick? What looks wrong with it?
I'm very puzzled but which one are you asking about? In the top pic with 4 chicks the grey one is lying flat. Are you asking about him/her being sick?

I just gathered my eggs and found a golf ball sized blob in the nest. Initially I thought it was a shel less yoke but when I opened it up it looked more like chicken meat.
I have five hens and all are a year old or older. I don't have a rooster. Has anyone seen this before?
