I have five hens - 3 are two years old and the other 2 are 1 years old. I don't have a rooster.
Has anyone ever seen this before?

Looks like a lash egg, but could be a shed ovary or part of the intestinal track. Don't worry, it happens sometimes. Just keep an eye out for more.

Yes, it is a lash egg (solidifid pus) which is common with chickens having salpingitis or inflammation of the oviduct. Here is a good thread about it:
