I went to TSC and bought a new set of chicks. I got two breeds. Red Ranger (or New Hampshire, can't remember) and Rhode Island Reds a few days later. They are coming along great and are about 3-4 wks old. There is this one that is significantly lager than the rest that came with the Red Rangera but it is a hen. Also it has a different color and pattern. It's got light feathers almost like an Orpington, but it also has black in its wing feathers. I'd like to know if this is a color variant or the Red Ranger or if it is a different breed.
