I posted before saying I have a hen who is egg bound, but I really don't think she is. I can feel no egg. She doesn't move around much, doesn't stand upright anymore and is still not laying. I thought that if she's egg bound she will die within 48 hours? It's been six days now.
So far I've made sure she has food and water, given her a warm bath and let her eat an egg with crushed tums. My other hens picked on her so I took her out and put her in a tote with hay and food and water.
Right now she's sleeping in some hay near the window (the sun is warm on her). Any ideas on what could be wrong?
