Hi All - my wife and I are from Nebraska. We joined as we were looking for a resource for raising chickens. We have been chicken owners for almost a month.

We have two PBRs and one RIR. They are all pullets. At least we hope. :). We do have one in question pictured below on whether or not it is a roo.

I can't tell for sure. If you can wait another couple of weeks, it will probably be easier.

It's nice to have you here!

Thanks everyone for the kind wishes and replies. My wife, I, and our little 8 month old daughter are very excited! :)

This one is a tad smaller than the other two. Will continue to monitor as all three are great and hang out on our laps etc.

It's not written in stone but, females usually have a dark wash over their legs - which she does have. I think her comb is immaterial unless it starts turning red soon.

Hi and welcome to BYC. I hope that you enjoy being a member of this site as much as we all do.

Best wishes
