My silkie (Elsa) went broody last week.
So I had a white plymouth rock rooster and her a black silkie and some other hens.
but I ended up having to give the rooster away because he was aggressive to me and the other hens.
but two weeks later her eggs were still fertile so I just slipped 5 under her and waited...and waited and THEN..
all the eggs died or were not fertile. So today I went to the feed store and bought to chicks a black Astrolaurp excuse me
if I wrote it wrong. So I will keep you updated everyday or two until they are laying or a bit longer.
