how do i get my ducks out of my pond

so my pond is huge and it connects to other peoples property and i was wondering if i should get a kiddie pool or let them go into the big pond and if i let them go into the pond how would i get them out?

On a big pond, they may decide to take off with  other ducks using the pond.   They won't come back.
