HELP!! Extremely swollen chick, what's going on?

I socialize my chicks as often as I can. I went out today to check on them and I noticed my favorite chick is very swollen. Like EXTREMELY swollen. None of the other chicks look like this. I took her inside and gently started to wash her rear thinking she was constipated and needed some kind of stimulation to get her to poop and she pooped pretty easily on me. It was normal size and color, so she isn't plugged up I don't think. I have no idea what to do, can anyone suggest anything or help me?

I took pictures but I don't know how to post them

She is an ameraucana, approximately 3 weeks old. Her belly is swollen and protrudes around and under her vent. It's about the size of a golf ball, her skin is dark, and the bulge it is soft to the touch. If anyone knows what's going on please tell me what to do. I've never had this happen with any chicken I've ever owned

Welcome to BYC. Omphalitis is a disease that can be caused by infection from hatch, and can cause swelling and infection at the site of the navel or umbilicus. Chicks usually die of this within the first couple of weeks. We would like to see a picture or two, just to see what you are seeing. Another possibility is a hernia.

Thank you for replying!!

I took these earlier today right after I noticed the bulge

Just a few minutes ago I brought her in and cleaned her backside again. I also gently prodded and massaged the bulge and she didn't chirp or try to run, she was very calm and tried laying in my hand so I don't think she's in pain. After washing with warm water and some stimulation with my hand she pooped twice, the first was normal size and predominantly normal color but there was orange in her poop. Not like blood, but the kind of goopey poop you see out of newly hatched chicks. The second poop was completely normal color, it was just a bit runny.

I've looked up everything I could think of and asked everyone I could think of and the only thing I got was, "it sounds like she's impacted trying to lay an egg." But she's only 3 weeks old, that's not possible. I'm panicking because the last thing I want to be doing is leaving her alone if she's suffering/dying
