Is my coop big enough?

Hi all, I am a newbie to chickens. I have built my own coop and run for my 4 ladies (×2 bluebells & X2 brown warrens). My question is do you think my coop is big enough for 4 hens?[IMG][IMG] Sizes are 4ft x 3ft x 4ft and I have built a run that is 3m x 1.5m

It's big enough if you don't lock them in the coop for days. Allow access to the run everyday and they'll be fine. Lock up the coop every night and they'll be safe.

I'm not seeing what you've done for ventilation. Make sure to provide enough. I put mine at the top. Each end of slanted roof on mine is open by using only metal roof so high hats of tin are open. Protected from weasels by screwing hardware cloth to rafters over entire top then put tin on. No roof sheathing. That's just an example of how easy it can be to provide ventilation and example of how much is needed. If you didn't provide any a easy way to do it is use a hole saw and cordless drill. Pop a 2 or 3 inch hole every 10 inches along the eaves. Top end of slant and bottom will pump air in bottom via convecton, it mixes with ammonia and moisture filled air of coop and flow out top leaving coop clean air and dry.

Thanks, yes there is ventilation all across the top at front and back approx 1.5 inch wide running the width of the coop and covered with galvanised wire mesh. They are let out every day into the run until my fiancee finishes work at 3pm them they free range until dusk.

I do have holes at the bottom however may need more just didn't want it to be too drafty
